Before moving to Greensboro Myke lived in Nashville TN and played Bass for Cobalt.  Living in such a musically strong, open and experimental city afforded Myke the opportunity to study under Jeff Coffin, a recent addition to Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. 

About his current project, The Apothecaries, Myke says: 
  "My role in The Apothecaries is varied which grants me a lot of freedom.  Sometimes it feels right to put down the Sax and pick up an acoustic guitar or my five-string bass.  We try to pick up on the right elements of  many diverse musical styles we can explore.  In the short time since the inception of the project I am convinced, Something is going on in Greensboro."
