These pieces were shown two years ago in Asheville, NC. The
idea was to use images that could provoke memories with in the viewer and
thus form a relation to them. The relation would hopefully inspire an
opinion or mood. The inspired opinion or mood would then in effect be an art
on it's own. Most of the organization of the pieces were done simply in an
attempt to direct the viewer's eye and hopefully the process of the memory.
I tried to be as unattached emotionally as I could, so as not to sway the
viewers mood one way or another. Overall I think it was fairly successful.
The ranges in ideas and opinons that I got from the viewers was so varied,
that it ended up inspiring me, possibly more so than any of them. All of
these pieces have been sold. |
